Physician Owner

In addition to her position at Summit Medical Group, Susan R. Pitman, MD, FACOG, is Chair in the Department of Gynecology at Short Hills Surgery Center in Short Hills, New Jersey. Dr. Pitman is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Medical Association and Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons.

Dr. Pitman says, “Carefully listening to and getting to know my patients helps me understand what influences their health. I respect my patients, help educate them about health and prevention, partner with them in decisions about their health and well-being, and treat them as a whole.”

When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Pitman enjoys spending time with her family as well as traveling, skiing, reading, and going to the beach.
