Physician Owner

Angela Wimmer, MD, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. She received her BS in biology at the University of Notre Dame and returned to her home state of New Jersey to pursue her medical education at UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson. Dr. Wimmer completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. Dr. Wimmer is the recipient of “The Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award” and has performed research in twin pregnancy.

While trained in all facets of general OB/GYN, her particular areas of interest reside in pregnancy and premenopausal health. She feels privileged to manage a couple’s pregnancy and share in the moments from the first ultrasound to delivery. She is also able to assist with perimenopause, which requires a multidisciplinary approach utilizing medical and surgical knowledge to manage the hormonal sways that contribute to both emotional and physical changes, including abnormal uterine bleeding.

Outside of medical practice she enjoys cooking and sharing life with her family. She speaks some German.
