Professional Statement

Neil J. Russo, MD, FACOG, specializes in general obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal and postnatal care, treatment for infertility, hormone therapy, and menopause. Dr. Russo is adept at minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and robotic gynecologic surgery to treat fibroid tumors, perform hysterectomies, correct vaginal prolapse, and treat gynecologic cancers.

Before joining Associates in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility, PA, (now Associates in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility at Summit Medical Group), Dr. Russo practiced with Physicians for Women’s Health Care, PA, and Suburban Women’s Physicians, PA, both in Livingston, New Jersey.

Dr. Russo notes, “My family’s general practitioner, an immigrant, inspired me to become a doctor at a young age. In addition to delivering many of the babies in my family and being our family surgeon, he continued caring for many of them through adulthood. I learned the importance of good communication, loyalty, and consistent care from him, which I share with each of my patients.”

Dr. Russo is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

When he is not working with his patients, Dr. Russo enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children as well as golfing, landscaping, and traveling.
